Favourite Manga dat boi	The thread about tattoos in the DBZ section got me thinking again about the first tattoo that I plan on getting soon. It will be very simple and small, but I'm still worried that it may seem a little silly to people. I think it's cute, and it has a big meaning to me, but I guess I'm still afraid of other people seeing it or of not liking it later on. It means a lot to me because my best friend (and first love) was obsessed with turtles and had pet turtles, and I've always liked turtles as well. It would remind me of her and the times when I was younger. Is this a silly reason to get this tattoo? I don't think it is, but I guess I'm always scared of what people will think, especially my family who is against tattoos to begin with.

No point in marking your body, if there's no meaning behind it. Then again, bro, you might think its cool now but probably will regret it when you're in your 50s. Then I realized that I shouldn't care what other people think about my tattoos because I am getting them for me, not for them. Now I show everyone my DBZ tattoos without any hesitation. So if you want the tattoo, get it. Don't worry about what other people think.

They're all meaningful expressions. Ultimately it's your physical body and you will be the one who lives with the rewards and/or consequences.

And if the tattoo has a deep meaning for you, then I say go for it! Especially if that's the medium you want to express it in. You don't need to justify it for anyone else - only yourself. =) I know what you mean, though. I want to get the Saiyan crest tattooed on me (it has special meaning for me in regards to my dad), and have been thinking it over - but it may well be the most meaningful tattoo I have once I get it. Soo ... best of luck with your tattoo endeavours! ^^
